A Periodic Reflection on Leadership…
God spoke to King David, the prototypical king of Israel, and said to him…
“The one who rules righteously, who rules in the fear [or reverence] of the Lord, is like the light of morning at sunrise, like a morning without clouds, like the gleaming of the sun on new grass after rain!” (from 2 Samuel 23:3-4 NLT)
I got up early this morning and that was the kind of day it was… Oh what a wonderful morning! And that’s the effect a godly, good leader has on those he leads (and those who observe his leadership)! Oh, I’ve got to tell you, I want to be that kind of leader!!! We need more leaders like that!!!
