Powerful things are promised and occur when we follow God’s word… EVEN IN OUR MARRIAGE!
I read about them this morning in my time of “Coffee with the Lord”… Here they are… (From 1 Peter 3:1-7)
FOR WIVES that exhibit godly character toward their husband (even when he is an unbeliever)! … Even if they do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct” … they’ll see the beauty “of the hidden person of the heart – the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight [and a husband’s] is very precious!”
AND FOR HUSBANDS who live with their wives in “an understanding way – showing them honor”… They will share with their wives “the grace of life and their prayers will not be hindered”
Wow! Powerful promises!! I read it this morning, paused and pondered the blessings promised and decided I always want to do my part in our marriage – I WANT OURS TO BE A TRULY CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE IN EVERY WAY! How about you?
