From my Bible reading this morning during my time of “coffee with the Lord”…
It just seemed like an appropriate devotional thought to share given the circumstances in our world today…
Sometimes looking at the beginning of a psalm… and then at the end of a psalm can be very instructive!
The beginning of Psalm 46…
“God is our refuge and strength, a VERY PRESENT help in trouble! Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling…
And then the end of the psalm…
“BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD! I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth! THE LORD OF HOSTS IS WITH US! The God of Jacob is our fortress!”
Thanks Lord! I needed to hear that… I needed to read that in Your word today!
