I was challenged this morning during my time of “coffee with the Lord” to SHARE THE GOSPEL WHEREVER – WHENEVER – TO WHOEVER I CAN!
Apostle Paul in Athens, a pagan city, provides a worthy example…
Here’s what Acts 17:10-34 reveals about him…
“While Paul was waiting for them [Silas and Timothy] in Athens… He went to THE SYNAGOGUE to reason with the Jews and the God-fearing Gentiles, AND he spoke daily in THE PUBLIC SQUARE to all who happened to be there… He also had a debate with some of the Epicurean and Stoic PHILOSOPHERS… Then they took him to THE HIGH COUNCIL OF THE CITY. ‘Come and tell us about this new teaching’ they said…” (from Acts 17:10-34 NLT)
And he did it regardless of the response – whether belief or scorn!
What a challenging example! There is an old investment truism… “Diversified investment is wise and pays rich dividends!” Empowered and led by the Spirit that’s how I intend to live as a Christian… Practicing diversified investment of Heaven’s treasure – the Gospel – in the lives of others as I have the opportunity!
