I’m counting the days!

Counting the days
I had just finished reading Psalm 39 this morning during my time that I call “Coffee with the Lord.” I decided I’d check my Facebook posts from FB friends that had come during the night. As I know you’re aware, Facebook has that neat little device that will remind you of posts you have made sometime in the past… And wouldn’t you know it – It reminded me that on March 31, 2011 (five years ago) I posted the following…
I am almost afraid to pray the prayer David prayed in Psalm 39:4-6! “Lord make me to know my end and what is the extent of my days; let me know how transient I am…” But, on the other hand, it is really important that we understand it!! So I pray it… and with God’s help I intend to make this day – TODAY – count for Him! How does the old Christian motto put it? “Only one life, will soon be past – only what’s done for Christ will last!” Have a Christ-centered day!
Seems to me it still is an appropriate post for TODAY… and an affirmation for EVERY DAY! So one more time… five years later I prayed it! And once again I say to you, my friends… “Have a Christ-centered day!”
