Been a tough year so far? I’ve got a wonderful encouraging passage of Scripture for you today!

I read a wonderful, encouraging passage of Scripture this morning during my time of “coffee with the Lord!” I pass it on to you today… Following is my paraphrased summary of its message (and then the words of the passage itself)…
First my paraphrased summary of its message…
Has it been a tough year so far? Have you felt just like giving up? Hang in there! Be faithful! One of these days the Lord will show up and everything will change for the better!
The passage? – from Isaiah 35:3–10 (ESV)
“Strengthen the weak hands! Make firm the feeble knees! Say to those who have an anxious heart, ‘Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come…and save you.’ Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy! … And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it… but the redeemed shall walk there. And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away!”
What a wonderful word of encouragement to those who may be facing incredible difficulty and challenges! Take God’s word to heart! Depend on its truth! Draw strength from God’s promises!
