Got a better investment for you than gold or silver! Check it out!

Investing in gold and silver

I’m sitting here this morning during “Coffee with the Lord” thinking about all the ads I’ve seen on television urging investment in gold and silver as a hedge against the fluctuations “the market,” inflation, and the uncertainties of world currencies. To listen to the ads you would think the wisest decision a person could make was to invest in gold and silver!
Problem is, I’ve just read about a wiser investment in the Bible that is urged upon us all…

“Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for THE GAIN FROM HER IS BETTER THAN GAIN FROM SILVER AND HER PROFIT BETTER THAN GOLD. SHE IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN JEWELS, AND NOTHING YOU DESIRE CAN COMPARE WITH HER. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed.” (Proverbs 3:13–18 ESV)

And the price for this investment? The “fear (or reverence) of the Lord! (Check out Proverbs 1:7, 9:5) That is what will get you in on the ground floor and open the doorway to all kinds of related benefits and return on investment!

Here’s the guy you want to make contact with “to get in on the ground floor”… (He’ll not only help you get started investing… He’ll be your “go to guy” all along the way… His name? “Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Colossians 2:2–3 ESV)

Hey, It’s high time we started investing, don’t you think?
