What was your prayer like this morning? How would you describe it?

Prayer

Had a good time of prayer and worship this morning… Sometimes prayer for me is a quiet voice – like an intimate conversation with a dear friend. At other times I’ve got an emergency and I “cry out!” Sometimes the pressure of life is great and prayer is more like a sigh… That’s what came to mind this morning as I read these words from Psalm 5…

“Listen to what I say, Lord! Carefully consider my complaint (or sighing)! Pay attention to my cry for help, my king and my God, for I am praying to you! Lord, in the morning you will hear me; in the morning I will present my case to you and then wait expectantly for an answer.” (Psalm 5:1–3 from the NET Bible)

How did you pray this morning? You see, it really doesn’t matter – He hears it all… Emergency praying, the sighing of a pressurized life, or the quiet conversation with a dear friend. “In the morning I will present my case to Him and then wait expectantly for an answer!” Don’t know about you, but I’m going to spend the rest of this Saturday waiting for an answer based upon His faithfulness!
