“Just a Sip” from a Wonderful Call to Worship

“Just a Sip” from a wonderful “Call to Worship!”

“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!  For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand!” (Psalm 95:6–7 ESV)

A “Call to Worship” Our Creator God!

A lot of you are traveling this summer to some very beautiful places! Places that leave you in awe – places that bear the mark of the “Master Sculptor” – Creator God!! I just love the Bible’s calls to worship! And when I see towering mountains, laughing brooks, cascading waterfalls, wooded lakes, roaring ocean waves, canyons exploding with stunning colors, it’s Psalms like the 95th Psalm that come to mind…

“Come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. For the LORD is a great God, a great King above all gods. He holds in his hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains. The sea belongs to him, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land, too. Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care.”

This summer enjoy your visits to places like that… And let them provoke thanksgiving, praise and worship to Creator God – the master sculptor, artist and painter!!! And, praise His name, He is also our Lord and Savior!!!

A Wonderful “Sip” – From Lamentations Yet!

What a wonderful “sip” from my time of “coffee with the Lord!”

“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:  The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases!  His mercies never come to an end!  They are new every morning!  Great is your faithfulness!”  (And from Lamentations yet!! – 3:21-23)
