Coffee With The Lord

Three times in Psalm 99… 3 Sips!!! “Holy! Holy! Holy!”

“The Lord reigns… He sits enthroned… The Lord is great… he is exalted over all the peoples. Let them praise your great and awesome name! HOLY IS HE!

Exalt the Lord our God; worship at his footstool! HOLY IS HE!

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for THE LORD OUR GOD IS HOLY!” (From Psalm 99)

I don’t just want to hear His praise through ear buds on my cell phone or through the speakers in my car… I’m going to take ’em off and hear His praise all around me in what He has made… More than that – I’m going to “sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things!!

Here’s the passage from the Bible that prompted that reflection during my time of “Coffee with the Lord”…

“Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him… All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises! Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody! With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord! Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those who dwell in it! Let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together before the Lord!” (From Psalm 98)

From Deuteronomy 15… If you are just and kind, generous and compassionate, and do what the Lord instructs you to do… “THE LORD YOUR GOD WILL BLESS YOU IN ALL THAT YOU DO!” (vs. 18)
