Quarreling Christians…

Some very important advice from Apostle Paul that needs to be followed in our relationships and interactions with fellow Christians…

“As for the person who is weak in faith, welcome him, but NOT to quarrel over opinions!” (Romans 14:1)

Core essential doctrines are one thing… We must be prepared to “contend for the faith” in those areas, but always in a “Christlike way.” Matters of debatable opinion, personal preference, and individual scruples should not be items that lead to quarreling among fellow Christians. On those matters we must accept one another and give room for differing perspectives.

Tragically, there are some “Christians” who “never saw a fight they didn’t like” and are given to stirring up controversy… Damages their testimony and hurts “the body of Christ!”

Today! Tomorrow! The Next Day…

Today…Tomorrow…The next day… “Do not be slothful in zeal! Be fervent ins Spirit! Serve the Lord!” (Romans 12:11)

Lessons from the Miracles of Jesus…

Three wonderful miracles of Jesus in the Bible and the lessons I learned from them today during my time of “coffee with the Lord”… (Taken from Matthew 8:23 – 9:8)

1) Jesus calming the storm – Don’t panic if Jesus is a part of your life! Trust him! He’s got everything under control.

2) Jesus casts demons out of two men who were demon possessed – Don’t let self-interest or fear keep you from appreciating and embracing the power of God at work around you.

3) Jesus healing the paralyzed man – Jesus has the authority to deal with every problem in my life – spiritual, physical, emotional… you name it! Praise the Lord!!
