Second post today in “coffee with the Lord” and it’s an important one… Read it this morning in the Bible – Matthew 10:37-39. Here’s my comment on it (followed by the words of Jesus, Himself!),
Nothing! No relationship, no activity, no issue, no “thing” is more important than your decision and mine to follow Jesus faithfully and with complete fidelity!
Jesus said, “Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worth of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me! And whoever does not take up his ‘cross’ and follow me is not worthy of me! Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 10:37-39)
He knows my heart! To the best of my ability I intend to follow Him that way… Completely – “all in” – with no reservations! Help me Lord to do it! With your help, I will!
