Traveling all day back from San Diego… Didn’t get to do “coffee with the Lord” until after I got back tonight… Part of my Bible reading though included Matthew 4:1-11 – The temptation of Jesus. This reflection came to mind…Jesus answered Satan’s temptation with “it is written,” quoting God’s word. Quoting Scripture verses is not a spiritual “rabbit’s foot” that we can use any old way we want to when we’re in trouble, but if used with integrity it is a tremendous aid in resisting the attacks and temptation of Satan! After all, Jesus used it!! … And I’m going to use it to help me overcome… with heartfelt integrity!!
