A godly leader… Oh, what a blessing!! If you have one… Offer thanks to God for them and let them know how much you appreciate them! Pray for them daily!
And if you have been given the responsibility and privilege of leadership determine to be a godly leader, fulfilling your responsibilities in the “fear of God” (i.e. with reverence for God as the foundation of your leadership).
Here’s what king David, one of human history’s greatest leaders had to say about the subject just before he died…
“When one rules justly over people… ruling in the fear of God, he dawns on them like the morning light, like the sun shining forth on a cloudless morning, like rain that makes grass to spout from the earth.” (from 2 Samuel 23:3-4)
Oh, how I want to be that kind of leader! Oh, how grateful I am for the godly leaders God has given me!
